Radio remote conveyor inclination control

If the mining machine employed is a plow it will be necessary to utilize the conveyor for horizon control providing the plow with the ability to follow the seam. 

This is effected by means of the steering cylinders which are adjusted via the conveyor control. An integrated position control prevents the wave-like movement of the conveyor normally occurring when the shifting units are extended to different lengths.

By constantly measuring the actual value and comparing it to the target value the exact position of the conveyor can be determined any time. As soon as the inclination angle of the conveyor exceeds the parameterized limit value the radio-remote inclination control automatically re-adjusts.
