Ball valves
The ball valve is used to shut off the flow of fluid in hydraulic systems. It shuts off the flow passage in both directions. The ball valve is operated manually. The ball valve is made from corrosion-resistant materials such as brass and special high-grade steel.
The ball valve is only designed for operation with fire-resistant fluids of group HFAS or HFAE acc. to the 7th Luxembourg Report and DIN EN ISO 12922. The ball valve works with hydraulic high pressure. It is only allowed to be installed in the system with the suitable pressure level and suitable connections.
Flow through the ball valve is from side A to side B. The ball installed in the housing is located underneath the lever. The ball provided with a hole is positioned between two seals and provides leakage-free sealing. Turning the lever by 90° and thus turning the ball blocks the flow of fluid.
