The dual power supply unit features two separate modules, each generating a 12 VDC output voltage. Each module integrates all necessary components to convert the primary voltage into an intrinsically safe output, ensuring independent and reliable operation.

The voltage output is short-circuit proof. The modules are housed in a pressure-resistant casing, with heat efficiently dissipated through the module and casing.

Two pressure-resistant cable entries are available for mains connection, with one used for connecting additional power devices.

To enable quick diagnosis in case of failure, the power unit can be equipped with a test switch, allowing disconnection of mains voltage to downstream devices after a ground fault.

The intrinsically safe circuits are routed through connectors and extended to the consumers via the well-proven SKK24 mining cable.
