Shield height recognition system

Via several inclinometers in different parts of the shield and the conveyor and a reed rod in the stabilizing cylinder, the actual height of the shield and the inclination of the conveyor in relation to the shield can be calculated. These values can be shown as numerical values or can be used to show the actual position of the shield in a 3D model.
With the calculated height of the shield, conclusions can be made if a collision with the machine is probable and a stop signal can be send to the machine. In addition, problems with the condition of the roof or the floor can be detected.
