Mx Datagraph

The VisuMx server is the heart of the Tiefenbach Control Systems software family. Mostly working in the background, it collects all the data from the face and processes it to the other programs. It’s the main communication platform between the face and the control room on the surface.

With our software it is possible to generate varied statistics:

  • Machine running time
  • machine distance in shields / meters number
  • Machine drives per shift
  • sensor error
  • valve error
  • conversion error
  • Percentage of defective sensors / valves
  • reverse error per shift
  • Downtimes due to:
    • DumpValve
    • emergency stop
    • bus error
    • pressure monitoring
    • machine error

Surface spreading (surface of a layer / day) can also be displayed graphically in our visualization.

Statistics are generated according to a specified time period.

All systems transmit their data obtained from the longwall to the office server, which has no write access. For example, the machine position can be determined using the data provided.

The opportunity of a direct connection of external systems (crusher / tank / energy train / pumps / filter / emulsion mixing plant / pump control / chain tensioner or filter rinsing)  incl. complete parameterization of the systems is given.

When connecting the pump station is due to the currently controlled Functions the amount of emulsion regulated according to need. The display of information is possible with the required interfaces.

Currently under development is a 3D version of the face overview used in our VisuLx client. For a more intuitive understanding of the current situation of the face, every shield is shown in the exact same position as underground. In addition, all data already shown in the VisuLx client can be shown in an overlay directly in the 3D model. Misalignment in the faces or problems with single shields can be identified at a glance, even by personnel with limited experience.
